Annotation:Nach dem erfolgreichen If I Can Dream«, das erst im letzten Jahr erschien, folgt 2016 mit The Wonder Of You« bereits das zweite Elvis-Presley-Album zusammen mit dem Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Auch für The Wonder Of You« gruben das Londonor Orchester und die Produzenten Don Reedman und Nick Patrick wieder tief in Presleys gigantischem Nachlass. Insgesamt 15 Songs schafften es schließlich in die Auswahl, die dann in den legendären Abbey Road Studios nachorchestriert wurden. Mit dabei sind weniger bekannte Songs und Hits des King Of Rock’n’Roll, darunter Amazing Grace«, Always On My Mind«, I’ve Got A Thing About You Baby«, Kentucky Rain«, das namensgebende The Wonder Of You« und viele mehr. Einen Höhepunkt bietet außerdem das Lied Just Pretend«, ein Duett mit dem deutschen Schlagerstar Helene Fischer. Bei allen Stücken ergänzte das Royal Philharmonic Orchestra lediglich die Orchesterparts. Elvis’ Stimme steht also weiterhin im Vordergrund der Aufnahmen.
